When we lived in Thailand most of my visa runs were to Singapore. Travel Central used to have an office in Singapore. We closed Travel Central Singapore just before covid. We know Singapore very well so if you are planning a short trip away then drop us a line and we would love to discuss your travel requirements.
One of my favorite places to visit whilst in Singapore is Sentosa Island it is a small island located off the southern coast of Singapore. It was originally a fishing village, but in the early 20th century, it was developed into a resort destination. In the 1970s, the Singapore government began a campaign to transform Sentosa into a major tourist attraction, and it is now home to a variety of hotels, theme parks, and other attractions. The name “Sentosa” means “peace and tranquility” in Malay, and it is often referred to as the “State of Fun” due to the many recreational activities available on the island.
Some of the best resorts on Sentosa are:
1). Capella Singapore – This luxurious 5-star hotel features a beautiful outdoor swimming pool with a sun deck.
2). Siloso Beach Resort Sentosa – This 5-star resort has a large 85 meter with waterslides and an 18-meter-high waterfall.
3). The Sentosa Resort & Spa – This 5-star resort features a large outdoor pool with a sun deck and a children’s pool.
4). The Outpost Hotel – This 4-star hotel has a rooftop pool with a sundeck and a bar, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.
5). The Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa – This 4-star resort has a large outdoor pool with a sun deck and a children’s pool.
Travel Central has exceptionally good rates with most hotels in Singapore & Sentosa Island.
Of course, you can’t go past Singapore Airlines A380 business class with flat bed seats.
