Itinerary

  • Day 1 – Kochi to Alleppey:
    You will be met at your Kochi hotel this morning by your driver and transferred to Allepey. The drive to Allepey will take approx. 1.5 hours (53km). Upon arrival at the dock, you will board your houseboat and cruise the backwaters of Kerala. Popularly known as ‘kettuvallam’, the houseboats are converted from traditional rice barges. You will cruise through the 900km network of waterways that fringe the coast from Alleppey to Nedumudy. Enjoying authentic Keralan food whilst drifting through the quiet canals, relax and witness the life of the people living around the backwater area of Kerala.
  • Day 2 – Backwater Cruising:
    Continue cruising through Kerala’s backwaters today, soaking up the exceptional scenic beauty of the area. Pass small villages, temples and schools, watching people go about their day, as you drift unhurriedly by.
  • Day 3 – Alleppey to Kochi:
    Disembark from your boat this morning in Allepey and transfer to Kochi hotel or airport approx. 1.5 hours (53.5km) where your arrangements will end.
