Day 1: Arrive Launceston  (D)

This morning those passengers travelling from Brisbane will meet with the Tour Host at Brisbane Domestic Airport for the flight to Launceston. Interstate passengers will meet the host and group at Launceston Domestic Airport.  Welcome to the start of our 6 Day Northern Tasmania Golf Tour. Just 10 minutes from the heart of Launceston, our golfing adventure begins at Country Club Tasmania. Set across 300 acres of rolling parkland, sparkling lakes, and beautifully landscaped grounds, this iconic resort is the perfect place for you to relax, unwind, and prepare for an unforgettable week of golf and touring. After settling into our accommodation, we will come together for a Welcome Dinner served in the Terrace Kitchen, the perfect opportunity to meet our fellow travellers, settle in, and enjoy the first evening together. Throughout our stay, we will have access to five restaurants and four bars, offering plenty of places to socialise and relax. The resort offers a range of activities and entertainment. Test your skills at the new state of the art driving range featuring 28 interactive driving bays with advanced ball tracking technology. Tomorrow, we tee off with a round on the newly refurbished Country Club Launceston 18-hole golf course, the perfect way to begin our Northern Tasmania golf experience before travelling to the globally renowned Barnbougle Dunes and Lost Farm, Tasmania’s spectacular world-famous golfing destination, in the days ahead.

Day 2: Launceston  (B-L-D)

After breakfast we begin with a morning round of golf at the newly refurbished Country Club Tasmania 18-hole golf course, the perfect way to ease into our Northern Tasmania golf adventure. Surrounded by rolling fairways, picturesque lakes, and beautifully maintained greens, this championship layout offers an enjoyable and relaxing start to the day. After golf, we head into Launceston for lunch at one of the city’s most iconic pubs, the historic Northern Hotel. Enjoy a classic pub meal and a chance to relax with the group while soaking up a little local Tasmanian hospitality. This afternoon, we visit the spectacular Cataract Gorge, one of Launceston’s most famous natural attractions. With its dramatic cliffs, walking trails, beautiful gardens, and scenic river views, the Gorge is a true Tasmanian highlight. We finish the day with a tour of the famous James Boag Brewery, where we will learn about the history and brewing traditions behind one of Tasmania’s most iconic beers. Of course, no brewery tour would be complete without a refreshing cleansing ale to round out a fantastic day of golf, sightseeing, and good company. Dinner tonight is at the Link Restaurant, Country Club Tasmania.

Day 3: Launceston – Barnbougle  (B-L-D)

Today the excitement builds as we depart for world famous Barnbougle, one of the most celebrated golf destinations in the world. The name “Barnbougle” comes from a Scottish term meaning “dangerous sandbank,” a fitting tribute to the rugged coastal dunes that shape this spectacular golfing landscape. Regularly ranked among the Top 50 golf courses in the world, Barnbougle Dunes is widely regarded as Australia’s premier public access golf course. Built across breathtaking natural coastal dunes, the course is often compared to the famous traditional links courses of Scotland and Ireland, delivering you an authentic links golfing experience on Tasmania’s stunning north east coast. Enroute to Barnbougle, we stop for lunch and a wine tasting at the award-winning Josef Chromy Winery, one of Northern Tasmania’s most celebrated cool climate wine estates. Surrounded by picturesque lakes, vineyards, and rolling countryside, this is the perfect opportunity for you to relax, indulge, and soak up the beauty of the region before we continue north. Upon arrival at Barnbougle, we will head straight to the spectacular Bougle Run for a late afternoon round of golf. This unique 14-hole short course offers dramatic coastal scenery, fun and challenging links style holes, and an unforgettable introduction to the Barnbougle golfing experience. With sweeping ocean views, fresh sea air, and the stunning Tasmanian coastline surrounding us, this is a fabulous way for to begin our stay at one of the world’s greatest golf destinations. This evening, we will come together for dinner at the renowned Lost Farm Restaurant, where we will enjoy exceptional local Tasmanian produce paired with spectacular coastal views. Afterwards, settle into beautifully appointed Ocean View Suites and unwind as the sounds of the ocean complete our first unforgettable evening at Barnbougle.

Day 4: Barnbougle Dunes  (B-L-D)

After an early breakfast we take on the world renowned Barnbougle Dunes, one of the finest links golf courses on the planet. With dramatic rolling fairways, rugged coastal dunes, and breathtaking views across Anderson Bay, today promises to be one of the true highlights of our golfing journey. To help us make the most of this unforgettable experience, we will be joined by the resident golf pro throughout the morning. As we make our way around the course, you will receive expert guidance on navigating the unique links layout, along with helpful tips and insights designed to improve our game and enhance the enjoyment of this spectacular course. Following our round, we relax and enjoy lunch together in the Sports Bar, an opportunity to recount the morning’s memorable shots, near misses, and favourite holes while taking in the relaxed Barnbougle atmosphere. This afternoon is at leisure. You may wish to unwind in your Ocean View Suite, explore the stunning coastline, practice your short game, or simply soak up the incredible scenery surrounding this iconic golfing destination. This evening, we will come together once again for dinner in the Dunes Clubhouse, where great food, spectacular views, and plenty of golfing stories await. It’s the perfect way for us to reflect on an incredible day at one of the world’s most celebrated golf courses.

Day 5: Barnbougle Lost Farm (B-L-D)

After breakfast, we have the opportunity to tackle the spectacular Lost Farm golf course, the stunning sister course to Barnbougle Dunes and one of Australia’s most highly acclaimed links golfing experiences. Designed by renowned architect Bill Coore, Lost Farm winds its way through dramatic coastal dunes with breathtaking ocean views, wide fairways, and unforgettable holes that offer both challenge and enjoyment for golfers of all levels. Following the round, we come together for lunch at the Dunes Clubhouse, where we can relax, relive the highlights of the morning, and soak up the incredible atmosphere overlooking the rugged Tasmanian coastline. This afternoon, we will take a short drive to the seaside town of Bridport for a tour and tasting at the Bridport Distillery. Here, we will enjoy sampling locally crafted spirits while learning about the distilling process and the passion behind this unique Tasmanian producer. Afterwards, we transfer back to Lost Farm Lodge where we have some time to relax and take in the ocean views from your suite, enjoy a quiet drink, or simply unwind before our final evening together. Tonight, we come together for our Farewell Dinner at the renowned Lost Farm Restaurant. With exceptional Tasmanian produce, fine local wines, and spectacular coastal scenery, it’s the perfect setting for us to celebrate a memorable week of golf, friendship, laughter, and unforgettable experiences.

Day 6: Barnbougle – Binalong – Depart Launceston (B-L)

After breakfast this morning we check out from Lost Farm Lodge and begin our journey south through Tasmania’s spectacular north east region. Our first stop is the breathtaking Binalong Bay, where we have time to take in the stunning beauty of the world famous Bay of Fires region. Known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, pristine white beaches, and iconic orange lichen covered granite rocks, this coastal paradise provides the perfect final taste of Tasmania’s natural beauty. From here, we continue our scenic drive via the seaside town of St Helens before making our way to the renowned Pyengana Dairy and Farm Gate. Set amongst rolling green farmland, this beloved Tasmanian institution is famous for its award winning cheeses and authentic country hospitality. Here, we will come together one last time to enjoy delicious Tasmanian platters showcasing some of the region’s finest local produce. After lunch, we journey back to Launceston Airport for our late afternoon flights home, bringing our unforgettable Barnbougle Tassie Golf Escape to a close. As we say our goodbyes, we leave with incredible memories of world class golf, spectacular scenery, wonderful food and wine, and the friendships shared along the way.

PLEASE NOTE: All passengers are required to have an excellent level of fitness and physical mobility for this tour. The three golf courses at Barnbougle are physically challenging with undulating terrain throughout. By booking this tour, you acknowledge and understand that motorised golf buggies are not available on any of the courses, you are capable of caddying for yourself and that walking distances range between approximately 6–8km per course.
