Itinerary
Day 1 – Oslo
Arrive in Oslo and settle into your centrally located hotel. Meet your Tour Manager and fellow travellers at a welcome dinner.
Day 2 – Oslo
Discover Norway’s capital on a guided city tour, including Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Opera House and Holmenkollen Ski Jump.
Day 3 – Flåm
Travel through Norway’s spectacular mountain scenery aboard the famous Flåm Railway, arriving in the picturesque village of Flåm.
Day 4 – Nærøyfjord & Bergen
Cruise the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord before continuing by bus and train to Bergen, Norway’s gateway to the fjords.
Day 5 – Bergen
Explore Bergen on a guided walking tour before boarding the Hurtigruten Coastal Express for your northbound voyage.
Day 6 – Ålesund
Sail along Norway’s scenic coast and discover Ålesund, renowned for its elegant Art Nouveau architecture and spectacular setting.
Day 7 – Trondheim
Visit historic Trondheim, home to the magnificent Nidaros Cathedral, before continuing north along the coast.
Day 8 – Arctic Circle & Lofoten
Cross the Arctic Circle and enter the wild landscapes of Northern Norway. Continue through the spectacular Lofoten Islands.
Day 9 – Tromsø
Explore Tromsø, the Arctic capital, with time to discover its lively centre and striking Arctic Cathedral before sailing towards the Lyngen Alps.
Day 10 – Honningsvåg & North Cape
Journey into Norway’s far north, visiting Honningsvåg and the remote landscapes surrounding the iconic North Cape.
Day 11 – Kirkenes
Arrive in Kirkenes, close to the Russian border, marking the northernmost point of your coastal voyage before turning east towards Finland.
Day 12 – Kirkenes to Finnish Lapland
Leave the coast behind and travel towards Finnish Lapland, surrounded by vast Arctic wilderness and snow-covered landscapes.
Day 13 – Lapland & Sámi Experience
Discover Sámi culture with a reindeer experience and enjoy the unique landscapes of Lapland. Continue your search for the Northern Lights.
Day 14 – Rovaniemi
Explore Rovaniemi, the official hometown of Santa Claus. Enjoy a husky experience and a thrilling sled ride through the snowy wilderness.
Day 15 – Rovaniemi & Glass Igloo
Experience more of Arctic Lapland, including ice fishing and other seasonal activities, before spending a magical night beneath the stars in a glass igloo.
Day 16 – Rovaniemi to Helsinki
Board the train south through Finland’s changing landscapes, travelling from Arctic wilderness towards Helsinki. Enjoy a farewell dinner on arrival.
Day 17 – Helsinki
After breakfast, your journey comes to an end. Guests extending their stay can enjoy additional time to explore Helsinki at leisure.

What to pack:
To make packing a bit easier, we have made a short list, suitable for all seasons along the Norwegian coast.
Here are some essential items to bring along with you, whatever the season:
