Itinerary
- DAY 1 – ARRIVE BEIJING:
Upon arrival to Beijing Capital airport or railway station, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. The rest of the day is at leisure. - DAY 2 – JINSHANLING HIKE:
After breakfast, transfer to the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall for a hike along one of the most scenic and lesser visited stretches of the Wall. Built across towering rural hilltops, Jinshanling’s dramatic views and striking watchtowers give visitors some of the best views in China. You will be hiking a distance of about 5km today taking between 2-3 hours. After the hike, continue to nearby Gubei Waterftown, set at the foot of Simatai Great Wall. Check in to your traditional-style accommodation and enjoy dinner. Before the day ends, explore the Simatai section of the Great Wall by night – a truly atmospheric experience. Much of this section remains unrestored, offering a fascination glimpse into the past. - DAY 3 – GUBEIKOU TO JINSHANLING TREK:
Hike 10km along a quieter, more rugged section of the Wall from Gubeikou to Jinshanling, taking around 5-6 hours. Far from the crowds, this stretch is full of dramatic views, crumbling watchtowers, and quiet moments to take it all in. After the hike, transfer 2 hours to your hotel in Beijing where arrangements will end.
