Itinerary
- DAY 1 – KATHMANDU TO NAGARKOT:
You will be met at your Kathmandu hotel and transferred to Nagarkot, a mountainous resort village with spectacular views over the Himalayas. - DAY 2 – NAGARKOT:
Depending on weather conditions, you may wish to rise early to view the sun rise over the Himalaya range. Later, go on to walk 8km down to Bastola Village with your local guide (approximately a 2-3 hour walk) to meet with a local family and participate in a cooking class, before the afternoon at leisure. - DAY 3 – KATHMANDU:
This morning you will drive along a winding road to Bhaktapur, the third of the ancient royal capitals. At Durbar Square you will visit the Golden Gate at the Palace of 55 Windows, and weave your way through to the great square of Bhaktapur, Taumadhi Tole, and the Changu Narayan Temple, the oldest temple in the valley. Later, visit Pashupatinath Temple. - DAY 4 – KATHMANDU TO PATAN:
Enjoy a tour of Patan, including the former Royal Palace and Patan’s Durbar Square. Return to Kathmandu and visit two of the city’s most significant sights, the Boudhanath and Swayambhunath stupas. - DAY 5 – KATHMANDU:
Enjoy the day at your leisure to explore Kathmandu. - DAY 6 – DEPART KATHMANDU:
Transfer to Kathmandu airport where your arrangements end.
